About Amanda and Chris

We met as students at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2001, as "brothers" of Phi Sigma Pi, a co-ed national honor fraterniy.

Our first conversation ocurred upon the discovery that we shared a favorite film: Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain. (We recommend you see it as homework for the wedding.)

Despite having many mutual friends, the stars wouldn't align themselves for another six months after that first encounter.

Coincidentally, we found ourselves both spending the summer of 2002 in Rochester. It was a prime opportunity to get to know each other -- this was Rochester after all and summer is the only season where the weather permitted us to leave our homes. It wasn't long when, following in the footsteps of mutual friends Bryan and Lauren who had started a relationship together just a couple of weeks earlier (now married), we became an "item".

We moved to New Hampshire together after graduating from college in 2004 and have lived there ever since. We're both very excited to be taking this next step in our lives together!
